Girl's Camp

I AM A FULLY CERTIFIED CAMPER! Ha ha, somehow that's not as exciting as one might expect... I got back from girl's camp on Saturday! It was my fourth year. It was pretty fun, not the best ever though. The theme this year was Our Love For Christ is Timeless. Kind of a weird theme, but whatever! Each cabin chose a time period and decorated it. My cabin was Ancient Rome and we rocked! We were pretty competitive and we decorated really well, it was pretty awesome. It all paid off in the end though, because we won best cabin, which was pretty sweet. We also got to go to the Hill Cumorah pageant. It wasn't the actual performance, it was a dress rehearsal. They treated it like a real performance though, but there was just less people and no protesters, which is pretty good! The pageant seems to get less exciting every year though. They have some pretty corny lines and choreography, and I think a new recording is due any day now! Ha ha, my favorite line is King Noah's goat-esque, "LAAAAAAAmanites" Here is a slide show of camp with some friends, some BOM characters, and of my cabin.
